Barnham Fireworks 2022
We’re so sorry we had to cancel…
Unfortunately, we had to cancel Barnham Fireworks this year. Based on the wind direction and speed, our exceptional fireworks team (Selstar) were of the very clear view that holding a display safely would not have been possible.
Keeping our over 3000 guests safe is our primary concern, and it wasn’t a decision that was taken lightly. We hope you understand and will be able to join us in 2023.
FAQs
Will it be rescheduled?
No, we won’t be rescheduling the event. Planning the event takes nearly a year (lining up suppliers, planning and executing marketing, booking facilities, recruiting volunteers) and, unfortunately, replanning all of that in a short time frame is just not possible given the size of the event.
Can I have a refund?
Yes, you’re entitled to a refund. Under the terms and conditions of your booking, you’re entitled to a full refund, which you can claim by clicking the button below within 14 days. However, before you do, we’d like to ask you a favour…
Barnham Fireworks is organised by a Charity, Barnham and Eastergate Community Trust, who arrange the event for the community. For decades, the fireworks event has been organised and run entirely by volunteers and, as a charity, they’ll incur significant losses as a result of the cancellation. Any surplus from the event is used by that charity to improve facilities at Murrell’s field and Barnham and Eastergate Community Halls.
If you would be prepared to waive your refund, the charity will be able to minimise their losses and will be immensely grateful.
If you decide not to claim a refund within 14 days of receiving this message, we’ll assume you’ve been kind enough to donate your refund to Barnham and Eastergate Community Trust and thank you sincerely.
